My name is Nicola Joseph, I am a registered Health Visitor and Paediatric Nurse. All health visitors are qualified nurses or midwives, with additional training in child health, health promotion and education. I have gained my fifteen years of experience working with children and families in numerous settings including nurseries, hospital wards and family homes.

I now work exclusively in the community either for the NHS or independently, with the specific aim of promoting healthy lifestyles and enhancing the emotional, physical, and mental well-being of as many people as possible.

I am registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council who demand the highest standards of clinical practice, and I regularly undertake professional training to update my practice and skills. I am a member of the Royal College of Nursing.

 I am passionate about the benefits of health visiting, and believe that with support you will feel in control of everything you do.
